Purpose
1. These resources help students to improve their schema related to each chaper I choose.
2. Students can learn more information about the reading texts through reading materials on these websites.
3. By interesting game , video and picture, students are interested in the reading text out of class.

How does your individual web project help your students extensive readindg? How can you use your collection for real teaching?

My resources will be used out of classroom because they are consisted of extensive reading and materials that students can use at home.

extensive reading activity

This activity is for the science class , especially about the "genetic". Many terms such as "genetic or biology" may be difficult to high school students . However, this activity deals with easily these terms related to biology by using many interesting materials( for example the picture of human genetic).
This is one of the advantages.

Does a schema activate your reading process? Talk about your case episode how schema helps your reading or no schema retards your reading.

When I read a magazine about movie and specific article in English , I used my schema or background knowledge.
For example, I read the movie articles , imagining and rememberint what I watched.
In that case, reading was so fast and interested by schema.

I usually use prediction strategy by viewing the title and the cover of a book before reading.
Also, during reading, I imagine contents of the text in mind and draw the picture. This strategy helps me to understand texts and give intersts about thetexts.
If I don't understand the meaning of a word and context, sometimes I find them on internet.
After finish reading , I write the sentences or expressions which impress to me or
I reread parts I enjoy.
