★From Table 4.1-4.4, think back what reading skills you haven't used before when you read English textbooks. Do you think ESOL learners should practice these skills (the skills you haven't used) in English class?
Actually, I have used almost of these skill, when I read English textbooks.
However, I didn't focuse on low level skill such as contractions, homonyms ,antonyms and subskills for language.
I think ESOL learners should use these skills because these skills can help understanding texts and give a chance to have a lot of knowledge of a language.
