There are lots of famous students, so-called stars or all A+, on Campus. Students called 'popular people' have something different from common people. The something is a beautiful appearance, special talents and wonderful grades. So, what is their special ability and why are they called popular students?
First of all, young people like a very beautiful appearance without any conditions, and yearn over them. So, naturally, students who have a pretty or handsome face, slim body and nice style are known as stars. People cannot help but keep their eyes on beautiful and handsome students because they are more attractive than common students. And then, popular students have a nickname made by other students, they are called by them nickname and they become more and more famous. So, standout appearance is one of the causes of popular students.
Second, they have a special talent, which is singing, a telling gag or exercise.
If someone participates in the sing-a-song contests and wins, he or she will be famous the next day. Also, students prefer a person who has humor, of course, especially like a comedian. So, students who act a comedian have many friends and they are popular. Also, students who have an excellent exercise ability are popular, for they are observed carefully, and then have a lot of fan.
Third, students are sensitive not only in their grades but also others' grades. Since one of the matters that students are concerned about grades, those that get a high grade are known as scholarship students. The reason why they are popular is that people can find them any time. Because people want to learn their study skill and ask difficult questions, there are many people around scholarship students. So, students who get a good grade and have good scholarship are also popular.
As a result, popular students have something different from common students. The former may have two or three of the stated causes. However, popular students have tried to develop their ability, though they was born with excellent appearance, talent and IQ, etc. Therefore, it is important that popularity is a product that is made by their effort. So, we don't need envy for popular students endlessly but need to try to develop our ability like them.
