★Do you think L1 reading skills transferred to L2 reading skills? How about your case?
I think L1 reading skills affect L2 reading skills depend on some case. If L1 is Chinese and L2 is English, L2 learners can learn more easily than learners ,who L1 is Korean, because Chinese is the same order of structure with English.
So, in my case, I'm pretty good in L1 reading , but I'm not good L2 reader because of the difficulty of vocabulary, complex structures and difference based in different language.
